DESCRIPTION:This presentation aims to increase our understanding and awareness about suicide: \n\naddressing what it means\,\nwhy some people experience thoughts of suicide\,\nand how we can all help support people who may be struggling.\n\nThe session covers a broad overview of potential signs of distress\, risk factors\, and ways to support others compassionately. Attendees will learn what actions to take if they’re concerned about someone\, the importance of open conversations\, and how to access local and national support services. No specialized background needed.
