DESCRIPTION:People explore counselling for many different reasons and at many different points in their lives. Whether you are wanting to navigate mental health issues\, cope with life change\, or gain new perspectives or self-knowledge\, finding a clinical counsellor who is the right fit and getting started on your counselling journey can feel daunting. \nIn this Matters of the Mind workshop\, two Registered Clinical Counsellors will walk attendees through how to find a clinical counsellor who meets their specific needs and goals. We’ll also explore what to expect from your first session\, and how this first appointment is an opportunity to ask questions\, discuss any concerns\, and see if the clinical counsellor is a good match for you.   \nAbout Matters of the Mind \nThese presentations are free online events for the public that are focused on mental health topics that are relevant to the people of BC.
