Who we are
Our members carry the designation Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). This designation demonstrates that our members have met specific educational and training criteria required by the BCACC. What’s more, our RCCs have not only met rigorous academic, clinical competence and professional requirements, they have voluntarily committed to practice according to our ethical code of conduct and standards of practice.

What we do
BCACC’s mandate is two-fold:
We offer recourse for clients if our members are not complying with our code of ethical conduct. This means clients can contact us and BCACC will receive and investigate complaints against members.
We support our members to provide safe, ethical, and effective therapy within their communities. We do this through the provision of robust educational opportunities, and through enhancing the culture of Clinical Supervision within the clinical counselling profession.
