About Ava

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed and want to reconnect with your values, and live a meaningful, empowering life, I would love to work with you. I am a queer, disabled trauma therapist who supports survivors of abuse and violence, adults of all ages, and teens 16+. If you are looking for sensory-friendly place to explore relational wounds, self-exploration, and reconnection with self/people/planet, I might be a good fit for your needs.

My work blends evidence-based techniques with holistic wisdom, drawing from somatic and creative activities to help you understand the parts of yourself beyond language. I help you process pain and joy with gentleness, warmth, and a sense of humour. My work also aligns with anti-oppressive values that honour your lived experience.

Like I always tell my clients, showing up is the hardest part. It is a privilege to do this work, and I would be honoured to hear from you. Learn more about who I am and what I do on my website, and reach out with any lingering questions.
