I work with people ages 4 and up and specialize in Sandplay Therapy, which is a modality used with clients of any age, from children to adults; this can be an appealing approach as it is non-directive and can be non-verbal. I also provide play and art therapy, as well as other counselling techniques, like CBT and Mindfulness. I offer support to families, parents, couples, children, teens, and individuals.

With some clients I use the Safe & Sound Protocol, which helps with nervous system regulation. Many counselling-related concerns as well as hearing problems can be helped with this specific music, including: trauma, mood instability, anger, sadness, Autism, ADHD, interpersonal connection, impulse control, tinnitus, misophonia, and difficulties hearing.

I believe human beings are resilient and have an innate capacity to heal. We need to feel safe, often in the company of someone we trust, who accepts us just as we are, to begin the journey. My job as your counsellor is to cultivate and hold the free and protected space to support you with whatever you are ready and willing to work on.
