About Kayla
Kayla Fleming is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, families, children, youth and executives across British Columbia. With over a decade of practice grounded in compassion, psychological insight, and real-world applicability, Kayla offers tailored therapeutic and law-informed services to help clients understand themselves, navigate conflict, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Kayla’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based and rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be understood, accepted, and supported in the context of their unique life circumstances. Clients appreciate her capacity to bring calm to chaos, foster meaningful insight, and co-create practical strategies for lasting growth. Drawing from a breadth of training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative and Solution-Focused Therapies, the Gottman Method for couples, trauma-informed care, and ADHD-informed practice, Kayla meets clients where they are and guides them toward healthier functioning and relationship patterns.
In addition to traditional counselling, Kayla holds advanced expertise in mediation, parent coordination, Hear The Child (HTC) reports, and other law-informed services that support families through high-conflict dynamics where legal and emotional needs overlap. She provides executive services and workplace support, integrating psychological understanding with leadership and relational effectiveness.
Kayla also specializes in parent education, separation/divorce transitions, co-parenting and family blending support, and couples counselling, including work with partners recovering from infidelity or betrayal. Her practice is designed to empower clients with skills for communication, conflict resolution, attachment enhancement, and sustainable relational change.
Committed to ongoing professional development and cross-disciplinary collaboration, Kayla brings thoughtful depth and practical strategy to complex emotional, relational and life challenges – helping clients find stability, resilience and a clear way forward.
