About Pamela

Life gets challenging for all of us. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to find the right strategies for you to gain clarity, understanding and healing. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship problems or work-related issues, my goal is to help you gain greater strength and resiliency. I take an integrative and holistic approach that involves your mind, body and spirit. My perspective is attachment focused, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. Using a combination of psychotherapy and body-based therapies, my hope is to bring positive change and balance to your life.
I offer a specialty in trauma with training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy. I also have an interest in couples counselling and am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method.
It is an honour and privilege for me to be invited into someone’s life as a counsellor. While I offer an empathetic listening ear, I will also work with you to find strategies that will help you manage problematic symptoms while challenging you to uncover root causes at a pace that is comfortable for you.
