About Madeline

Madeline (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has a Master of Counselling from City University and a BA in Psychology and Criminology from Western University.

Madeline is passionate about working with adults and couples who are navigating relationship/family issues, life transitions, mood challenges such as anxiety and depression, trauma, and identity development. She nurtures warm, open, and collaborative relationships with clients, bringing a trauma-informed, feminist and anti-oppressive lens to counselling. Madeline shapes her approach around each client’s unique needs, circumstances, and intentions, drawing from attachment theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and emotion-focused therapy.

Madeline is a firm believer that each client’s life story is beautifully unique, and her role is to offer support and deep understanding in a warm and non-judgmental way. With a strong belief in the power of human connection, Madeline takes great care and attention in developing relationships with those she has the pleasure of working with, based on mutual respect and trust.
