About Arlene
am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) working with individuals in the Vancouver area. My practice is inclusive and non-judgmental, and I am passionate about helping clients regain a sense of hope and possibility. Welcoming clients with diverse backgrounds, I?m sensitive and mindful around gender, sexual orientation, race, age, spiritual beliefs, ability, body size, cultural background or identification, relationship status, and family situation.
I am dedicated to meeting you exactly where you are at, using empathy, presence and unconditional positive regard to create a safe and nurturing space that supports you to learn more about your self and to discover what you need in order to flourish. The relationship I seek to have with you is one that is empowering, assisting you to feel respect and compassion for yourself, so that you can make the changes you desire.
I hold the belief that when therapists are dedicated to their own therapeutic process it deepens their capacity and presence with others. I am well prepared to support you on your journey as a result of doing my own deep work in therapy. I understand the vulnerability, fear and trepidation that comes from seeking counselling and opening up in a healing relationship, as well as the amazing results that can emerge through the counselling process.
I invite you to reach out if you have any questions or would like to explore working together.
I also offer coaching and education/skill building for Therapists, specifically in the area of Narcissistic Abuse. If you are a Therapist and would like to find out more, please reach out.
