About Carly
I primarily work with people around trauma and its impact. You may have recently been harmed or are in the trenches decades later. It’s normal to grapple with confusion around your identity and past after trauma. My goal is to help you build safety, mourn your experience, and reconstruct a sense of who you are. Our experiences leave marks on our relationships, and we can often see ourselves reflected in them. Maybe you’re having a hard time being vulnerable, are feeling easily triggered, or are having complicated feelings about yourself. You are certainly not alone in this. We can let these moments guide us to the parts of ourselves that need tending to and explore them together.
I work with a present moment, emotion, and relational focus to repair attachment injuries and process trauma. We’ll use our relationship to learn about your emotional experience in a way that might feel new or challenging, to create new neural pathways and promote positive change. I use a feminist approach, and engage my true self in our sessions.
I’m taking new clients in Vancouver at Peak Resilience and virtually across BC and Canada. I look forward to hearing from you!
