About Christina
Christina, RCC – Counselling for When You’re Holding It Together on the Outside, but Struggling on the Inside
You’re probably the one people count on. You show up, get things done, keep it together. But underneath, it can feel like you’re running on empty – overwhelmed, burnt out, or quietly wondering how much longer you can keep going like this.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to keep figuring it out on your own.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. I’m also a former teacher, a parent, and someone who understands how full life can feel. My approach is grounded, practical, and holistic – paying attention to your thoughts, emotions, and how stress lives in your body.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in leadership roles in both private and non-profit settings. I understand the pressure of performing on the outside while feeling disconnected on the inside. In our work, we make space to slow things down, get underneath the surface, and figure out what you actually need.
I work with adults – parents, high-achievers, perfectionists, creatives, and young adults – who are navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and questions about identity, direction, or purpose. You might be struggling with boundaries, self-worth, or patterns that no longer feel aligned.
My approach is collaborative, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based therapies including EFT, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, within a humanistic and experiential framework.
Clients often tell me they feel at ease and able to be themselves in our sessions. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, gain clarity, and move forward in a more sustainable way with more confidence and self-trust.
If you’re looking for support that is both compassionate and grounded, I’d be glad to connect.
