About Jean
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I graduated from Yorkville University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. With a core emphasis on relationship-building and a strong therapeutic alliance, I aim to create a safe and relaxed environment where clients can naturally open up about their inner thoughts and feelings. My clinical approach to therapy is person-centred and strengths-based, drawing from various modalities that will best suit the client. I work with issues such as anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and much more. While I am dedicated to helping individuals unearth their strengths, find their voice, and embrace the very best aspects of themselves, I find it essential to meet each client where they are to work collaboratively toward healing and personal growth. Furthermore, I support my clients in creating the most security and fulfillment in their daily lives with the belief that each person is unique and capable of thriving when treatment is equally unique and tailored to their particular needs.
