About Manjima
Hello, and welcome!
I am fortunate to support youth, families, individuals, and couples on their journeys of healing and self-discovery. Relationships are the heartbeat of our lives, reflecting both how we connect with others and with ourselves. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space in therapy, where clients can bring their true selves.
My work is guided by a trauma-informed and culturally competent approach, anchored in family systems and anti-oppressive frameworks. Additionally, integrating the latest knowledge in areas such as polyvagal theory and interpersonal neurobiology, and evidence-based therapies like Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
With a strengths-based and client-centered approach, I believe that every person, regardless of age, gender, or background, holds an innate wisdom within them. My goal is to empower clients by partnering with them as they explore their past, navigate the present, and create their future with agency. I strive to bring my authentic self into the therapeutic space with humility and care, openly discussing the power dynamics inherent in therapy to foster a genuine and supportive connection.
For youth and families, I address concerns such as anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism), family conflict, school challenges, disordered eating, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, and identity exploration.
For adults and couples, I offer support in areas like sexuality, relationship distress, communication skills, work-life balance, and parenting, including in blended families. I am sex, kink, and poly affirming and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and those in alternative relationship structures such as Ethical Non-Monogamy.
