About Natashia
My name is Dr. Natashia Bacchus and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling and a Doctoral Degree in Psychology. I have worked with adults, children, and youth in a clinical capacity for over 20 years. I have practiced extensively in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, and post-traumatic stress, with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing.
I have a great deal of experience in the educational system working with children and adolescents with ADHD, behavioural issues, and mental health concerns, helping them to utilize skills and strategies to be successful in the classroom setting. As well as working in the education system, I have extensive experience in every facet of the Criminal Justice System with both victims and offenders, supporting them through their initial contact with police, navigating the court system, and working with Probation/Parole.
I am registered with CVAP, FNHA, Work BC, ICBC, and WorkSafe BC.
