About Parminder
Parminder Mann is a registered clinical counsellor who has offices in Surrey and Burnaby.
Life can be very stressful at times. Some people may have jobs to juggle, or new careers to manage, some may have homes and families to care for, some may be becoming new parents or are parents of young children and adults, while others may be dealing with any minor or major change in life.
Maintaining relationships on top of everything else you are doing can become overwhelming. When this happens, you can become depressed, anxious, managing emotions such as anger can become difficult, making decisions can also become an uphill battle.
There may be times when you don’t want to stress out family members and share your struggles with them. Maybe, you are trying to be a support to their problems. In times like these, it may be worthwhile to see your doctor or a counsellor to sort out your thoughts and feelings. Or you are at a crossroad and are having a hard time making some decisions.
Seeking counselling may be beneficial for you. Counselling can help clarify your goals or narrow down what is important currently in your life and help you find ways to achieve it. It can help you bring more awareness to your thoughts and feelings. This can help you cope with your current difficulties in life.
Parminder is trained in couples therapy, parenting using attachment models, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing.
