About Shanelle
Shanelle Connell specializes in providing therapy to the Film and Television industry. Providing support both on and off set to actors, crew, casting associates, agents and more. She has worked and participated in the entertainment arts for a total of 17+ years as an actor, and is an active member with UBCP and the CMPA.
Her years of training and work within both theatre and film spaces make her an expert in the common struggles that her fellow film professionals face within the industry. From understanding the aspects of behind the scenes to post-screen success, Shanelle wants to support all industry professionals in maintaining their wellbeing in such a mentally demanding industry.
Shanelle is also a citizen of the Metis Nation of Alberta and continually is completing training to support her learning of her Indigenous heritage and culture so that she may better support her Metis and other Indigenous communities within film and therapeutic capacities.
