About Swarna

I specialize in supporting individuals through life’s most difficult challenges, including trauma, grief, abuse, chronic pain, shame, and emotional crises. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on creating a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can reconnect with their authentic selves.

Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities—such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, ACT, Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy—I tailor my work to meet each client’s unique needs. Art therapy is central to my practice, offering a powerful outlet for processing complex emotions.

As a South Asian immigrant, I bring lived experience and cultural sensitivity to issues related to identity, family dynamics, and cultural transition.

I am a CVAP-approved provider for individuals eligible for counselling through the Crime Victim Assistance Program.
