About Valerie
Are you feeling overwhelmed by emotions, struggling with unwanted thoughts, or finding yourself stuck in unhelpful habits? Whether you’re navigating ADHD, trauma, addiction, codependency, or challenging relationships, you don’t have to face it alone. Everyone needs support at times, and counselling can be a powerful tool for change.
As someone with ADHD myself, I deeply understand the challenges that come with it—racing thoughts, difficulty with focus, emotional intensity, and feeling misunderstood. My lived experience, combined with over 17 years of counselling expertise, allows me to offer empathetic, practical, and effective support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, stress, and addiction.
I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach while integrating other evidence-based techniques tailored to your needs. More than anything, I believe in meeting you where you are, providing a safe, non-judgmental space where we collaborate to create a plan that works for you.
Taking the step to start therapy can feel intimidating—I’ve been there too. But together, we can help you move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered. Let’s work toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.
