This award recognizes practitioners who have made a significant contribution to the community through their work. This work can include an individual’s work with a specific population, or excellence in work as a group practice, or in an institution or agency setting.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their work in a short essay (300 words).
Considerations when applying should include:
- Demonstrated excellence in client care
- Strong commitment to ethical standards
- Meaningful impact on client well-being and outcomes
- Ongoing engagement in professional development
- Active contribution to the growth and advancement of the counselling profession
Please outline:
- The nature of the practitioner’s work, and the population served by their work
- The contributions of the work to the broader community
- Clear demonstration of excellence in provision of services
- Two nominations from other BCACC members (name and contact information)
