About Ellen
I have been working as a family child and couple therapist since 1988. I have a speciality in divorce adjustment for all ages and stages. I work with parents on coparenting including consultations, families merging households, children’s experiences of family changes, and promoting their well being. I work in Collaborative Divorce as a Parenting Coach and Child Specialist
i also work with individuals couples and families with loss, trauma, stress, chronic health conditions, and general well being. I enjoy working with all family members of communication and conflict resolution.
In addition to my MA in Counselling Psychology (family counselling) at UBC), I have a certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute, and Certifications in EMDR (trauma), Integrative Body Psychotherapy (a well being focused practice that integrates mind and body), and a Diploma in Counselling from the Haven (group facilitation.)
