About Lida

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and an educator with 25 years of experience. As a clinician, I have had the opportunity to serve individuals, couples, families, and groups across diverse settings. My clinical experience includes working with women in abusive relationships, complex trauma, risk assessment and crisis management, and multicultural counselling.
As a clinical supervisor, I have worked with many practitioners for personal development and improved clinical competence. In turn, I have been fortunate to receive mentorship and supervision throughout my own development in the field.

My counselling approach offers a relational and contemplative space that fosters encouragement and growth. I aim to create a nurturing environment rooted in empathy and understanding, helping cultivate resilience, acceptance, and optimism. Within this space, clients engage with life’s challenges as opportunities for self-discovery and growth. I approach treatment with humility and flexibility, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual’s needs and preferences. Clients often express appreciation for the compassionate, respectful, and practical nature of our sessions.

I am passionate about my work and deeply committed to those I have the privilege to work with. Through ongoing personal and professional development, I aim to honor the trust placed in me by my clients and the community.
