About Rebecca
I support individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. My approach is warm, practical, research based and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment theory, family systems, CBT, trauma recovery and Non-Violent Communication. I offer a space where clients feel heard and understood, while also helping them make sense of what they are experiencing and develop tools they can use outside of sessions.
I often help clients put words to experiences that have felt confusing, painful, or difficult to explain, and gently explore where certain beliefs or patterns may have begun. My work considers the ways early experiences, family roles, attachment patterns, and learned beliefs can shape self-worth, boundaries, communication, emotional responses, and partner choice.
Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented. Together, we slow things down, connect the dots between past and present, and identify practical steps toward change. My hope is that clients leave therapy with greater clarity, stronger boundaries, more self-trust, and a deeper understanding of themselves, their deepest values and their relationships.
I work with clients who are ready to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, parenting challenges, self-worth, family conflict, adult child-parent estrangement or the impact of difficult and controlling relationship dynamics. I also support clients exploring attachment patterns, emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, post separation abuse, coercive control recovery, spiritual trauma, faith deconstruction, boundaries, communication, and identity. My approach is warm, practical, and research-informed, with a focus on helping clients make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and build tools for clarity, emotional safety, and meaningful change.
