About Dorota
RECOVERY FROM PAIN IS POSSIBLE. Let’s start together from understanding YOUR pain and create a path to wellness that is unique for YOU. I am fascinated by the brain and body connection and the immense possibilities that arise when we open ourselves to learning and understanding how various psychoneurobiological mechanisms work, how our environments and circumstances have shaped us and continue to do so, and how we can harness the power of that understanding towards change. I specialize in working with people living with chronic/persistent pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and other psychophysiologic disorders, as well as PTSD, anxiety and depression.
My overriding clinical orientation honours the mind-body connection, neurobiology, somatic, experiential, psychodynamic, existential-humanistic approaches, and the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual nature of our lives.
