With over 20 years of counselling experience, I understand that everyone has the potential to grow and heal. As a first-generation Portuguese Canadian, I know firsthand the challenges of adapting to different cultural norms. Drawing from my own experiences, I believe that change is possible with hope, support, and guidance. My approach is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.
I work with clients from the LGBTQ+ community, clients seeking relief from disordered eating, anxiety and depression. In addition, I have experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, loss and grief, and trauma.
Using evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs, I help individuals discover their strengths and achieve their full potential. Whether you’re struggling with a specific issue or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, I am here to provide support and guidance every step of the way.
