About Meredith

Whether you’re coping with the effects of trauma or feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, I’m here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space. Together, we’ll work to better understand your experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. Drawing on 15 years of clinical counselling experience, beginning with my supervised practicum in 2011 and continuing in private practice since 2013, I tailor therapy to each client’s unique goals, needs, and preferences.

My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I value building authentic relationships and aim to be transparent, compassionate, and easy to talk to while offering honest thoughts and practical support when it is helpful.

I am passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. When appropriate, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Flash Technique, and hypnotherapy to help clients process difficult experiences and reduce the distress associated with them. I believe counselling works best as a collaborative process, and together we’ll decide which approaches best fit your goals, comfort level, and preferences.

In addition to my counselling practice, I offer individual clinical supervision to counsellors, providing a collaborative and supportive space for professional growth and clinical development.

I provide virtual counselling to adults throughout British Columbia and offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation for potential new clients. I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel overwhelming and that finding the right counsellor is an important part of the process. During our consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss what brings you to counselling, ask questions about my approach, and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. I look forward to connecting with you.
