Angela is a seasoned, Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Supervisor, Certified Canadian Counsellor, Registered Canadian, and Registered BC Art Therapist. Angela is a developmental, strengths-based clinical supervisor, specializing in Art-Based Clinical Supervision.
Angela supports individuals, couples & families seeking a nurturing and safe milieu to explore widespread & complex personal, couple, and family-related issues related to addictions, anxiety, depression, divorce, giftedness, grief & loss, neurodiversity, self-regulation challenges, and trauma. Additional, areas of concentration include Indigenous perspective approaches & allyship, LGBTQ+ affirmative support & resources for individuals & families, student & adult career, vocation and retirement counselling, self-care, corporate mental health, wellness training, and retreats.
Angela’s practice includes the use of evidence-based practices such as CBT, MBCBT, and Gottman Method (for couples & parents); as well as, rich Transpersonal and Experiential approaches that include Art Therapy, Sand & Play Therapy, SoulCollage, Walking the Labyrinth, Therapeutic Writing Trauma-Informed Yoga for Children & Youth, Parent-Child Dyad Therapy, and Nature-based Therapy.
