About Julie
Since 1993, I have worked in a variety of social service and health care roles providing specialized services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. I offer an individualized approach to helping each person I work with to adapt, grow and thrive with life challenges.
In recent years I have specialized my clinical practice in helping individuals heal from a wide range of traumatic experiences and chronic stress. I can also help with related issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression and insomnia.
I have pursued in-depth training in EMDR (including advanced training in Attachment-Focused EMDR, and EMDR 2.0), Somatic Experiencing, Reconsolidation Therapy for PTSD, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (MDMA and Psilocybin) and Integration, and Focusing. Currently, Attachment-Focused EMDR, tends to be my primary modality, integrated with the other bodies of knowledge as I take an individualized approach to everyone I work with.
I love working with people to develop curiosity and openness to exploring new ways of seeing and being at times of transition in their lives.
