About Chelsea

Are you someone who is tired of anxiety running your life? Do you find yourself avoiding difficult situations or emotions and using ‘quick fixes’ to cope? You want to be social and successful but find yourself isolating because you are scared of failing or being judged. You get caught in negative thoughts and self-criticisms.

I help individuals, couples and families understand how their automatic reactions (though no longer helpful) originated from valid protective reasons so that together we can change and rewire the mind-body connection and create new ways of being in relationships and the world. My approach uses somatic mind-body science, attachment tools and emotional regulation strategies to help you feel empowered in your life and create lasting change. I use compassionate, evidence-based approaches in counselling, and believe that everyone deserves to feel worthy, connected, and successful in their lives.

I believe that trust and safety in therapy is essential. I understand that trust takes time, so I offer a free 15 minute phone conversation to see if we might be a good fit working together.
