About Tracy
I know that being seen, heard and believed is central to building a relationship based on safety, trust and dignity and I am passionate and committed to this in my work. I have been privileged to work as a counsellor with children, youth and families for over 15 years.
I adapt my approaches to meet the needs of the diverse clients I work with; drawing on mindfulness, expressive arts and play, cognitive and somatic (‘body’) approaches, feminism, Narrative and Response-based practice. I value families, community and reconnecting to nature. I see you as the expert of your own situation and will explore resources from within your cultural and family teachings to support you and your family.
I am honoured and grateful to live and work within the unceded, traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw, Snaw-Naw-As, and Stz’uminus First Nations.
