About Tyne
I have recently relocated my practice to serve the North Okanagan region, where I offer services to young adult and adult client’s. Areas of practice include; psychological counselling, trauma counselling, as well as, marriage/couples or family counselling.
I work from an eclectic approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential approaches, emotion-focused therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Ego-States work (an attachment focused form of therapy for dissociative disorders), acceptance and commitment therapy, among other approaches. I am a strong believer in continuously learning new therapeutic techniques and being able to offer client’s tools that will best help them for their individual goals and therapeutic needs. I approach all client’s through a trauma-informed lens.
I believe in helping to make therapeutic services accessible, therefore for clients who need financial assistance, sliding fee options may be available.
