About Dave

On the outside, you may look like you have it all together — responsible, caring, capable — but inside, something feels heavy or unsettled. You might find yourself questioning your own reactions, carrying a quiet loneliness, the old feeling of being “too much” or “not enough,” or the ache of never having felt fully seen. Old patterns can keep showing up in your relationships: working hard to stay connected, overthinking others’ reactions, or withdrawing when things feel too vulnerable. You’ve done your best to manage it, but you’re longing for something deeper — a way of being that feels more grounded, open, and at home in yourself.

In therapy, we’ll slow things down and gently explore the emotional landscapes that shaped you — the protective parts that helped you survive, and the younger places inside that still long for warmth and safety. Together, we’ll begin to heal not just by talking about what happened, but by creating new, lived experiences of connection and trust in real time.

My approach is experiential and relational, drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and parts-based therapies. I show up as my real self — attuned, grounded, and emotionally present — because healing happens in the space between us. As you reconnect with your authentic self, you’ll open space for softness, confidence, and aliveness — more grounded in being you.

I specialize in working with individual adults on the following concerns:
– childhood trauma, especially relational/attachment trauma
– complex trauma
– childhood emotional neglect
– other distressing or traumatic experiences
– struggling with intense emotions
– feeling emotionally disconnected or numb
– anxiety
– family-of-origin issues
– grief & loss

I’m particularly well-suited to work with those who identify as big/deep feelers, highly sensitive individuals, introverts, or those who often feel overwhelmed, as well as fellow therapists who are seeking their own space for personal healing, reflection, and support.

Please check out my website for a better feel for me and my practice. I look forward to hearing from you.
