About Rana

About Me
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and educator who supports individuals through planned and unexpected transitions in their education, career, and personal lives. Change affects each of us differently. We bring our own values, beliefs, histories, and hopes into every new chapter—and with that comes a range of thoughts, emotions, and possibilities.
My goal is to offer a safe, grounded, and collaborative space where you can explore your options, recognize your strengths, and better understand the challenges ahead. My approach is relational, trauma‑informed, and grounded in how our nervous system physiology works with our body to regulate, seek safety, focus our attention, or react to internal and external cues. When you are ready to make I plan I can also collaborate with you to provide the support you may to be solution‑focused and goal‑oriented.
Whether you’re trying to stay steady in your current path or preparing for something new, I’m here to support you in navigating your next steps with clarity and confidence.

My Approach
I believe that people thrive when they feel understood and supported. Each transition brings its own mix of uncertainty, stress, opportunity, and growth. Together, we will explore what’s working, what feels unclear, and what possibilities lie ahead.
In our work, you will have space to slow down, reflect, and make intentional choices. I integrate both practical strategies and deeper self‑awareness, ensuring the counselling process feels both supportive and purposeful.

Professional Background
Before becoming a therapist, I worked extensively in post-secondary institutions across Canada and the United States. My work focused on creating leadership and educational experiences for students, and supporting them as they explored their goals and identities.
I also bring significant experience supervising and managing professionals in higher education and office administration. This includes mentoring emerging professionals, supporting youth and adults of all ages, and facilitating growth in leadership, communication, and community engagement.

How We Can Work Together
Here are some of the ways we might collaborate:
* explore the current trajectory of your life journey

* discover the path to your ideal future

* address burnout, stress, and overwhelm—for you or your team

* identify strategies to strengthen leadership and communication skills

* create sustainable systems that support your goals

* find clarity and confidence in navigating life’s transitions

An Invitation
Transitions aren’t always predictable. Sometimes we see them coming; other times we realize we’re already in the middle of one. If you’re feeling uncertain about what comes next, I invite you to connect with me.
I offer a complimentary introductory phone call for all new clients.
