About Kirsten
I completed my Master in Counselling Psychology in 2022 and bring close to 30 years of experience in helping diverse groups of people.
I utilize a person-centred approach. In treatment, I focus is developing a strong therapeutic relationship and creating an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance so you can direct your own healing at your own pace.
Through talk therapy and psycho-educational tools we learn skills and strategies to: – help you regulate emotions – soothe your nervous system – reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety – improve communication in relationships – increase self-esteem and confidence – move toward inner healing
I love to knit crochet. I’ve been mother since 1996 and married to a wonderful man since 1994. The things that brings me the most joy are knitting/crocheting and our (Bichon / Shi Tzu / Yorkie) Sir Arlo who was born in 2020.
