About John
John Zak is an EMDR-trained Registered Clinical Counsellor with an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy who specializes in trauma and PTSD. He works with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, people-pleasing, and relationship difficulties, using approaches including EMDR and somatic therapy. John is also an approved ICBC and Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) counselling provider, supporting eligible clients following motor vehicle accidents or crime. He offers in-person counselling in White Rock and South Surrey, as well as online counselling throughout British Columbia.
