About Kendra

As a former national team athlete and current RCC, I have a unique understanding of the psychological pressures that often coincide with sport-participation and managing difficult emotions. Reducing barriers to therapeutic services for athletes fuels a large portion of the advocacy work I pursue. I also enjoy working with a diverse range of clients (14+) to address various concerns. These areas include, but are not limited to, challenges with performance and social anxiety, depression and/or low mood, self-esteem, trauma and interpersonal abuse, grief and loss, disordered eating/RED-S, communication difficulties, and self-improvement.

My skillset helps you rediscover and repurpose pre-existing strengths in order to create new or more useful ways of coping with the distress you may be experiencing. This includes thoughtful consideration of how past experiences may be influencing your current state of being, and the direction/pace of where you’d like to go. Drawing from client-centred, collaborative, and strength-based approaches, I bring a refreshing mix of patience, compassion, curiosity, and humour to each individually tailored session. My goal is to facilitate a space that feels safe enough to be challenged by difficult conversations, yet familiar enough to feel genuinely understood, accepted, and capable of creating meaningful change.

I am currently welcoming new, in person and virtual clients. Please email me to set up a free 20 minute consultation at [email protected] or book online at
