About Kelly

“Mental Health Support for Every Season of Life” with Alfresco Therapy | Founder: Kelly Love, L.Sch.Psych., RCC, C-NIT

With an integrated approach to mental health support, Alfresco Therapy embraces the philosophy of “off the couch and into nature,” recognizing that healing can occur both within and beyond traditional therapy spaces. Whether indoors or outdoors, therapy is tailored to meet clients where they are—emotionally, physically, and seasonally—acknowledging that there is a time for every purpose and a season for every emotion.

Our adventurous commitment to service extends to rural and remote communities across British Columbia and guided by the belief that access to mental health support should not be limited by geography. Thoughtfully weaving evidence-based practice with modern innovation, we offer confidential, personalized sessions through secure telehealth—bringing therapy to you, wherever life takes you.

Online client experiences may include:
– the convenience and continuity of telehealth
– the connection and strength found in group therapy
– insight and skill-building through workshops
– clarity and direction provided by psychological testing and assessments

Balancing life within its seasons can be especially challenging for individuals living and working in rural and remote settings. Alfresco Therapy offers specialized therapy services tailored for Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) workers across industries such as:
– Oil & Gas
– Forestry
– Transportation
– Mining
– Energy
– Healthcare

Located near Penticton, BC? Clients may choose a refreshing walk-and-talk therapy session, where fresh air, movement, sunlight, and nature complement the traditional therapeutic process. For those working away from home, telehealth sessions allow clients to maintain therapeutic momentum while on rotation.

Alfresco Therapy is supported by Zipper, an Accrediated Facility Dog, who may be present in select sessions when clinically appropriate—offering calm, grounding support as part of a nature-informed and relational approach to care.
