About Saba

Saba holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. As a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with specialized training in narcissistic abuse, Saba is committed to supporting individuals through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, particularly within the neurodivergent community. As someone from the community herself, she believes in the philosophy of “from the community to the community,” striving to provide meaningful, culturally sensitive care that reflects the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals.

Saba has extensive experience working with children, youth, adults, couples, and families. Her collaborative, client-centered approach emphasizes the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, especially for those navigating ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence. Saba?s work in diverse settings?including schools, the Stop the Violence program, and the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD)?has provided her with expertise in supporting neurodivergent individuals, as well as those experiencing domestic violence, high-conflict divorce, co-parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, and complex PTSD.

In addition to facilitating women?s empowerment groups and support for gender-diverse youth, Saba is passionate about empowering neurodivergent individuals to embrace their unique strengths and navigate life’s challenges with greater self-understanding and resilience. Her therapeutic style is grounded in encouragement, warmth, safety, and acceptance. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Somatic Therapy for Complex Trauma, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based CBT, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotional Regulation Skills, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Saba’s dedication to serving the neurodivergent community drives her to create a welcoming, inclusive space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive. She walks alongside each client with compassion and curiosity, helping them explore different aspects of their lives, unpack trauma, and develop the tools needed to navigate the world with confidence and ease.
