About Elisabeth

Hello, my name is Elisabeth — I’m so glad you’re here.

Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, uncertain, and lonely, no matter your age. I was fortunate myself to experience the transformative power of counselling at a young age and the ability it has to uplift through active listening and unwavering support. My role now is to hold space for you or your loved one, to offer guidance, and to walk alongside you as you navigate change and healing.

I am passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults, families, and those wanting to reconnect with their younger selves. With over 10 years of experience and specialized training in child and youth work, creating genuine connections with young people is one of my greatest joys.

I have extensive experience supporting people impacted by substance use, addiction, and trauma, including time working in inpatient treatment settings. I also work with concerns such as, but not limited to, family conflict, suicidality, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and identity exploration.

My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, grounded in creating a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore, express, and heal. I draw from Attachment and Adlerian theories, and I use evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). I also integrate creative and somatic methods including play therapy, sand tray, art, and body-based approaches.

I recognize that my own lived experience shapes the lens I bring into the therapeutic space. I identify as a cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied woman of European descent, raised middle-class in semi-rural BC. Naming these identities feels important, as they influence how I move through the world and the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to ongoing reflection, and I stand as an advocate and ally for BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, and neurodivergent communities.

If you are seeking a space of compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, I would be honoured to connect with you. To book a free 10 minute consult with me please use the following link. I look forward to connecting with you!
