About Genevieve (Evi)

Welcome. I work with clients wishing for a gentle, collaborative counselling approach to relationship and family challenges, self-esteem and confidence, as well as ADHD challenges, trauma and body image issues.

It is important to me to provide you with a warm, safe and non-judgemental space to explore whatever brought you here, whether feelings of loneliness, shame, worry, grief, confusion, or something else entirely. As we to work together, my goal and focus is to support you to meet up with hurt parts of yourself you may have put away and allow them to be gently unearthed, seen, nurtured and ultimately healed. This lays the way for more expansive, full and connected living, where all aspects of you can influence your life in growthful and fulfilling ways.

I primarily use emotionally focused therapy techniques to help you connect with feelings and parts of you that need the space to be processed. I also include cognitive behavioural techniques to support you to face challenges in your life with stability.

I see clients in-person at 525 West 8th, on Wednesdays, and virtually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. You are most welcome here.
