About Jane
Hello! Thank you for reading my profile, and I hope we can connect. My pronouns are she/her and I am a settler of mixed European ancestry living on the stolen Traditional Coast Salish Lands including the Katzie, Kwantlen, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations.
I work from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, and embrace a holistic approach in my counselling practice informed by my education and lived experiences. I work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory lens while incorporating modalities such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy & Internal Family Systems.
I aim to establish a safe, compassionate, collaborative, and empowering space to facilitate your journey of transformation. My approach may include addressing your nervous system and emotions, considering family, culture, and generational influences, understanding your attachment styles, and working with the different parts of you to foster greater self-awareness, self compassion, and peace.
