About Christy

I take a humanistic, existential, and attachment-informed approach to counselling, offering a compassionate and collaborative space to explore life’s challenges, relationships, and questions of meaning. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from children as young as seven to older adults, with a focus on grief, loss, trauma, identity, anxiety, and life transitions.

I believe that many of our struggles and strengths are shaped through our relationships with others and with ourselves. Counselling can provide an opportunity to better understand these patterns, make sense of difficult experiences, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.

Love, loss, connection, and meaning are deeply intertwined parts of being human. Whether we are navigating grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life changes, healing often begins when we have space to explore our experiences with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.

My goal is to create a counselling experience where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. While therapy often involves difficult conversations and emotions, I believe it can also be a meaningful and supportive experience that helps people feel more connected to themselves and others.

In addition to my counselling work, I have a background as a Child Life Specialist in healthcare and support children, youth, and families navigating medical experiences, anxiety, and trauma.
