About Lynne
Recognizing the courage it takes to reach out for counselling support, I focus on building relationships and working alongside people to help them reach their goals. I believe in a strengths-based, trauma-informed practice that can offer flexibility of approach dependent upon a person’s unique preferences. This may include specific therapeutic modalities for which I am trained and experienced in providing, or a combination of approaches that are determined by each individual.
I bring over 30 years of experience working with children, youth and families from a variety of contexts that include Child & Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensics, and within the School District. I hold a BA in Child and Youth Care, a Master in Counselling Psychology, and am certified to provide Clinical Supervision.
My areas of knowledge and experience include concerns related to attachment, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, communication and neurodiversity.
