About Katja
Welcome and thank you for being here!
My name is Katja and I offer counselling for teens and adults living in British Columbia.
I am originally from Germany, and immigrated to Canada in 2020, where I have since worked in the field and gained experience with different populations and client concerns. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I am here to support you on your unique journey. My work is grounded in somatic attachment psychotherapy, an approach that recognizes the deep connection between the mind and body, and supports healing from relational ruptures.
I have a particular interest in women’s mental health and have experience working with clients around issues such as identity, boundaries, insecure attachment, perinatal grief, and the emotional impact of caregiving and societal expectations. My goal is to provide a space in which you can show up as you are, feel comfortable, heard, and supported.
You don’t have to go through the challenges of life alone. If you think I might be the right counsellor for you please reach out. I understand that seeking support is a vulnerable experience, and I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
