About Christina

Christina Chen is a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and Consultant who has worked in managerial and front-line roles and supported individuals and families in a variety of settings (acute, short- and long-term counselling, youth work, pastoral work, community mental health, school counselling, trauma work etc.) for over 15 years.

Christina works from a strength based, human centred, and solution focused approach. Some modalities that inform Christina’s integrated approach including Attachment, Systems, Existential and Internal Family Systems. She is passionate about supporting people to identify their goals and dreams and empower them to let go of the things that no longer serve them and to take steps to live out the life they imagined.

As a Clinical Supervisor and consultant, Christina has provided clinical supervision for mental health clinicians from a number of backgrounds (psychologists, social workers, counsellors, youth and family workers) for the past 10 years. She likes to work collaboratively, focusing on reflection and meaningful discussion to engage and support clinicians in their work.

Radiance Wellbeing specialises in walking along people who want support with:

– changes and transition
– building meaningful connections
– motivation and goal-setting
– cultural identity and belonging
– maintaining and managing relationships
– grieving and loss
– finding purpose and meaning
– personal growth and development
