About Ashley
Ashley Morris, brings a specialized and compassionate approach to sex and couples therapy, informed by her extensive background in forensic psychology and trauma recovery. With a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Honours, Ashley excels in supporting individuals facing severe sexual conditions, including those with legal or social implications.
Drawing from her experience at a forensic psychiatric hospital and aiding federal offenders—including sexual offenders—with community reintegration, Ashley offers unique expertise in sexual behavior, trauma, and rehabilitation. Her integrative therapy style combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
Her practice helps clients navigate complex relationship dynamics and challenges such as sexual dysfunction tied to trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and major life transitions. She creates a non-judgmental, stigma-free space where individuals can safely explore their most sensitive concerns.
