About Marianne
Marianne is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in B.C. She is also licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California where she trained as a Sandplay Practitioner.
Marianne has worked extensively in private practice and school settings. Her years as an elementary teacher and school-based therapist have given her the experience to advocate appropriately for the children and families she supports.
Using an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach, she offers a variety of verbal and non-verbal methods of self-expression for healing and growth. These include imaginative play, the creative arts and Sandplay as appropriate.
Whether working with children or adults, Marianne respects each individual’s unique nature and strives to engage with kindness, encouragement and hopefulness.
