About Lillian

In those moments when life feels heavy, uncertain, or confusing, having a safe space to process can make all the difference. I offer a nurturing environment where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace. I am passionate about creating a space where clients can feel safe, heard, and valued as they embark on their journey of self-improvement and growth. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and rooted in a multicultural lens to meet the diverse needs of my clients. Drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, I tailor my work to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, major life transitions, supporting children, and neurodivergent individuals. I strive to foster a caring and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to navigate life’s complexities and uncover their inner resilience.

Born in Norway, I immigrated with my family to Canada in 2004. I bring a combination of personal and professional experience to my work as a counsellor. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Simon Fraser University, I obtained a Master of Counselling at City University of Seattle. My early career was shaped by my experiences as a Behaviour Interventionist, where I worked with children and adolescents on the spectrum, and as a volunteer at the Kids Help Phone crisis line. These roles strengthened my dedication to supporting individuals through life’s challenges and informed my empathetic and client-centered approach to counselling.

I offer a 15-minute free, no-obligation consultation via telephone. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Thank you!
