About Laura

Songbird Therapy refers to one of nature’s reassurances; birds sing only when they feel safe and when there’s no threat nearby. Our nervous systems tune into this, often without us realizing, taking cues from the natural world. In the same way, therapy can become a space where your system learns it’s safe enough to soften, explore, and be heard.

Therapy with me means going at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. Life can be overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying experiences that feel too heavy to share or process alone.
I work with individuals navigating a variety of struggles including trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, and depression.
I’m also passionate about supporting activists and frontline workers in reconnecting with purpose and resilience. I offer space to process the emotional toll of of advocacy work, while helping to rediscover meaning and hope in the face of exhaustion, burnout, and ecological grief.

This space is here for you, whether you’ve never told your story before or you’re ready to make sense of it in a new way. I’d be happy to connect for a free 15-minute consultation call to see if this feels like the right fit for you. I offer therapy online, in-office, or walk and talk therapy in nature. You can contact me/book online at https://songbirdtherapy.janeapp.com, or by email at [email protected].
