About Alex

Please note: I am on maternity leave as of April 1 and am not accepting new clients at this time. I anticipate returning in October 2026.

Growing up comes with challenges, and it can feel overwhelming at times. I specialize in supporting children, teens, and young adults (ages 10-29) with concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, ADHD, self-esteem, and school or relationship challenges. I also support young people identifying as LGBTQ+ and offer sessions for parents and caregivers who want guidance along the way. I’m based in Colwood, supporting families and young people across the West Shore (including Langford) and online throughout BC.

My approach starts with building a genuine connection so you feel seen, heard and supported. From there, we work together to set goals that matter to you — whether that’s feeling less anxious, navigating relationships, improving family communication, or building confidence.

Education and Certification

I hold a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler Univeristy and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria. My training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE program), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Motivational Interviewing and more.
