About Ala'a
You may find yourself giving so much to others while quietly running on empty. Stress, conflict, and daily pressures can weigh heavily, leaving you feeling exhausted and disconnected. I provide a calm, restorative space to process what you are carrying and explore practical strategies for relief. As founder of Golden Hour Counselling, and as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), I support clients with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, stress, anger, addiction, grief, depression, relationship concerns, low self-worth, burnout, boundaries, life transitions, and parenting.
Many clients come to strengthen family life. This might look like easing parenting stress, navigating co-parenting, or restoring balance at home. I offer a warm therapeutic environment to reflect and explore practical strategies, informed by advanced training in ADHD, DBT, and trauma therapy. My approach is calm and grounded in trust and meaningful change.
I am also a father, which deepens the way I understand the struggles of showing up for others while staying connected to yourself. Whatever you are carrying, therapy provides a grounded place to feel heard, understood, and to explore new ways forward. Together we can connect in person or virtually to foster resilience, growth, and meaningful change.
